Message When buying parts from our wonderful classifieds, be sure you know what you're buying. More importantly, be sure the seller Knows what he /she/it is selling.

Here we have a (What I think) a minor mistake, but it could have been a major one for the owner of the Z I'm currently working on.

Member NicelowZ (NoVa) Posted some Chinese crap o2 sensors for sale, advertised as OEM.

My un-named customer was unaware of who the rat infestation by the name of "AMS" was, and bought the sensors from Mr. Hallquist. He had one of the o2 sensors installed, the performance of his Z went down the drain after it was installed.

Today I swapped the chinese crap with an O.E sensor with 100k+ miles on it (Which is still good) And the Z quickly sprung back into life.

Buyers:Educate yourselves on the parts that are available for our Z's.

Sellers: please educate yourselves more on the parts you have for sale, you could be costing someone thousands of dollars when selling parts from a company that is known for its lack of quality.

***Please remember that not every Z owner is aware of what/who AMS is. Raising awareness will be our only weapon to their downfall.***

Post on classifieds.

"OEM O2 Sensors. Only have 1500 miles on them. $100.00 for the pair."
